Summer break is near and my kids want to earn money! We’ve been doing the “help around the house because we are family” thing for so long and I’ve always been against paying them to do so…. but I’m ready to change things up so the kids have a way to earn money to MANAGE and buy the things they wish I would buy (like pokemon cards, gamer stuff and candy every time we go to Target). We spent the afternoon identifying the different jobs and pricing them out, so we came up with the board below.
Here’s to hoping this is a win-win deal where I don’t have to nag them anymore and they won’t ask me to buy anything anymore either. Ultimately this deal would result in a cleaner home and kids/future adults that know how to save, donate and spend wisely.
