Walking into several southern restaurants, I noticed one of the pretty popular art pieces hanging on their walls were comprised of up-cycled beer bottle caps. I thought it would be neat to make something similar out of the beer bottle caps that we’ve collected at home over the years.
A birthday was coming up and I decided it would be great to make something handmade, especially for someone who seems to have everything already. I managed to reuse a piece of wood that was already sitting around the house, loosely painted it with acrylic paint and pieced together the bottle caps to make a crab.
I used turquoise acrylic paint, pliers to fold the bottle caps as needed, and a glue gun to put the bottle caps in place.
